GachaPals Terms
Plain-language terms for players and creators. By signing the acceptance message with your wallet you agree to them.
1. What GachaPals is
GachaPals is software for opening packs of digital collectibles on the Solana blockchain. Each collectible is an NFT. The GachaPals original series are digital-only; NFTs from other providers may represent physical items held by that provider.
GachaPals never holds your keys or signs on your behalf. Payments and items move only through the GachaPals Packs program when you approve a transaction in your own wallet.
2. Who may use it
You must be of legal age where you live and allowed to buy collectibles of this kind there. GachaPals is not offered in some regions and blocks access from them by network location. The on-chain program cannot enforce location, so you are responsible for complying with the rules that apply to you.
3. Rips and randomness
A rip costs the rip price shown on the pack, paid in USDC. One item is drawn from the items still in the pack, with odds equal to each item's weight divided by the total weight at the moment of the draw. Odds change as items are pulled; the live odds are always shown before you pay.
Randomness is provided by an independent verifiable random function (VRF) oracle. The random value and settle slot are recorded on-chain so anyone can recompute the result.
If randomness does not arrive within the timeout set in the program, anyone can trigger a refund and the full rip price goes back to your wallet. A settled rip is final.
4. Reference values
Reference values shown next to items come from the vault provider (for example, an insured value the provider publishes) or from the item's metadata, with the source and time they were fetched. They are informational only, may be out of date, and are not an offer, appraisal, or promise that any item can be sold for that amount.
5. Holding, trading, and redemption
Items you pull are yours to keep, transfer, or list on any marketplace. Physical redemption, shipping, fees, and timelines are handled by the vault provider under its own terms. Vault providers may hold rights over their NFTs (for example to move them on redemption or for legal reasons); if a drawn item can no longer be delivered from the pack's escrow, the rip is refunded in full.
The GachaPals Market lets users list items at a fixed price or by auction, place bids, and post offers. Items and USDC sit in program-controlled escrow while a listing, bid, or offer is open, and a seller fee shown before each action is taken from the sale price. Sales are final once settled. A Guaranteed offer locks the buyer's USDC until its end date and cannot be cancelled before then.
6. Creators
Creators may only load collectibles from approved vault-provider collections, set weights and a fixed rip price, and publish. A platform fee (shown before publishing) is taken from the creator's proceeds, never added to the rip price. Creator revenue unlocks after a lockup window. Creators cannot cancel a rip that has been paid for.
7. Risks
Blockchain transactions are irreversible. Smart contracts, oracles, wallets, and networks can fail. Collectible prices move and demand can disappear. Only spend what you are comfortable spending on collectibles.
8. Changes
These Terms may be updated. A new version will ask you to sign again before your next rip or publish.
